Are you ready for this recipe? A few things you should know ahead of time. #1) They are darn good if I do say so myself. Having just one was hard to do! #2) these are a labor of love if you are like me and you don’t enjoy cooking that much. They are very tasty but it’s not the simplest recipe in the world.

Truth be told, I don’t like to cook. I’m too busy in the evenings and cooking takes up way too much time. If I could drink Shakeology for dinner every night (I already drink it for breakfast), I would… but that might be pushing it a bit. Therefore, I typically try to take recipes and make them in a crockpot if I can. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. For this recipe I simply cooked the chicken all day in the crockpot so it was ready to shred when I got home. The ne
Spicy Spaghetti Squash Boat recipe that we made last night. One of my fabulous Fixers posted a similar recipe (originally from Whole Foods) in my last Challenge Group and I FINALLY got around to making it (it’s been a busy month!). I put a little spin on it by throwing in some chicken, garlic, cheese, and a little extra seasoning. If you are a vegetarian, you can omit the chicken and it’s still a great dish! Ingredients: 1 medium spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and seeded
This is a Ruth Shrauner original! WHAT?! But if you don’t like it, I’m going to pretend like I didn’t make it up… I thought it was pretty tasty though! Who doesn't LOVE a crockpot recipe? I've made this and it was pretty darn tasty! Pulled Pork BBQ from honeybeehomemaker.blogspot.com Yield: 4 servings Fix Portions (per serving): 1 red, 1/4 purple, 1/4 green, 1 yellow (if served open-face; 2 if served on whole bun; 0 if served bunless) Ingredients 1. 1 pork loin 2. ½ cup unsweetened applesauce 3. ½ cup water 4. 1 green container (about 1 cup) onions and mushrooms, chopped 5. 1 tsp cayenne pepper 6. 1 tbsp garlic powder 7. ¼ r
I call it Imitation Greek Pasta Salad (I love real greek pasta salad!). This is one of Ben's FAVORITE side dishes. He LOVES it and always asks me to make it. I like it because it doesn't feel like I'm eating veggies, I'm tricked into thinking it is pasta... So here is the recipe: Ingredients: 1 spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and seeded 4 to 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (I actually used an all natural Greek salad dressing I got from Aldi's. It is low cal, low fat,
Ummm, yum, yum!!! I can't take any credit for this recipe, it's straight from the new Extreme program! Benji made it for us last nigaht and it was (already gone!) SOOO GOOOD!
