Goal: Pay off $200K in 2 Years!

October 20, 2015

UGH... here goes the dreaded moment of truth.

On Sunday I shared my Beachbody success story with an audience of other coaches and challengers. I shared the ugly truth about my life with them. It was scary. However, after sharing my story, I received so many "thank you" messages from people in similar situations that I feel moved to share it on here as well. If I am capable of this, SO ARE YOU.

I took this photo on July 28th, less than three months ago. After five years of living in denial, it was time for me to face our financial truth. On that day Ben & I met with a financial planner and for the first time ever looked out our student loan debt in its entirety. Some may call this irresponsible (I agree) but before that day I didn't have the courage to look at it. I knew it was A LOT and I had no idea how we were going to dig ourselves out of it. It's kind of like people and their health, once they reach certain point they feel like it's pointless to even try to lose the weight, that's how i felt about our financial situation (IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!). However, on July 28th I wasn't all "doom and gloom" about our situation, for the first time ever I was hopeful.

When we met with the advisor we had $235,000 in student loan debt. YEP, yikes! But I left the appointment with the biggest smile on my face. Ben looked at me and said, "You look so happy, like we already paid off our loans or something." I looked at him with all the confidence in the world and replied, "I feel like we have. For the first time in my adult life I have hope. I KNOW that this debt will not weigh us down for the rest of our lives. We WILL pay it off in two years. That's why I'm smiling. Thank you, God, and thank you, Beachbody."

When I signed up to coach I was super skeptical:
>>>Was it a scam? A pyramid scheme?
>>>Do these coaches REALLY help people or is it all a lie?
>>>Who is actually going to want ME to coach them? I'm not a fitness professional.
>>>Am I even going to have enough time do this with my full-time job (I had one at the time)?

BUT I WAS OUT OF OPTIONS. I could wade in my debt and circumstances or I could TAKE ACTION.

Because I took action:
**I get to live with passion
**I get to be my own boss
**I get to have FLEXIBLE work hours
**AND AS OF TODAY OUR STUDENT LOAN DEBT IS AT $210K - we've paid off $25,000 in less than three months... #whatthewhat #GlorytoGod Think how much more I could pay off if I stopped flying everywhere! smile emoticon #cancellingalltrips #yeahright

Here's the deal... Beachbody, nor I, can guarantee your success if you decide to give coaching a shot.

>>>YOU have to put in the time, your business won't grow overnight.
>>>YOU have to do the work, about 1-3 hours a day when you beginning - YOU DON'T HAVE TO QUIT YOUR FULL-TIME JOB!
>>>YOU have to believe in yourself, this takes effort!
>>>YOU have to be the best you possible, even when you don't feel like it.
>>>YOU have to care about others and want to make a difference in their lives.

If you can do that, I can guarantee you a few things.

**YOU will feel fulfilled.
**YOU will inspire others NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR HEALTH JOURNEY.
**YOU will do things you never thought possible.
**YOU will grow as a person.
**YOU begin to reach your personal goals.
**And, you might earn a little (or a lot) money too. smile emoticon

My question to you is this... are you at a crossroads in your life? Are you complaining about your finances all the time? If you are in a similar situation that I was a year ago, what are YOU going to do to change it? Doing nothing and simply waiting won't change anything. The only person who can change your life is you. What are you waiting for?

I'd love to share more about the coaching opportunity with you. Maybe next year you'll be writing a post about your own success story and being your own boss - how cool would that be?! If you'd like more information about how to join my team of rockstar coaches fill out this application (www.tinyurl.com/qcklup3) or PM me!!

P.S. This picture makes me miss my long hair.
