GUUUUYS!! Get ready for the next BIG fitness program coming your way July 12! Shift Shop is a program that helps to shift your mindset and beliefs in order to rise to your full potential. It’s a high intensity workout program with both strength and cardio workouts that use a lot of agility movements

 

 

I was lucky enough to be in the Shift Shop focus group and it was AMAZING! Here are some of the things I loved about Shift Shop:

  1. No repeating moves!

  2. The workouts were AWESOME, starting at 25 minutes with week 1 and ending with 45 minutes by week 3

  3. Chris Downing- the trainer was speaking to MY SOUL every workout, and he SINGS his words- he totally gets me!

  4. The athlete in me LOVED this program

When is Shift Shop going to be available?

Shift Shop launches on Beachbody on Demand on July 12th. You will also be able to buy a physical copy of the program.

 

If I’m using Beachbody on Demand, how do I get the markers?

You are able to purchase the markers with the program, you can find them here!

 

What is the meal plan like?

The nutrition plan is all based on portions. It helps you to get the perfect balance of the right foods at the right time.  The plan helps to reduce starchy carbs and increasing proteins and veggies.  Every week the nutrition plan changes so you don’t get stuck on certain foods and get to change it up!

 

 

Here is what my meal plan (1 day) looked like in week 1:

 

Morning: Scrambled eggs with cheese and spinach

Morning Snack: Chocolate Shakeology

Lunch: Pork and black bean salad

Afternoon Snack: Berries

Supper: Salmon, Broccoli and Sweet Potato

 

I definitely did NOT go hungry!!

 

You will use the Portion Fix containers for the size, but the nutrition plan for the program alters the foods that you’ll be eating in order to get yourself into that maximum fat burning mode.

 

How long are the workouts?

The workouts are different each week. Week 1 has 25 minute workouts with Speed on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Strength on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and abs on Thursday and Saturday.

 

Week 2 is 35 minutes plus the extra 10 minute abs on Thursdays and Saturdays.

 

Week 3 is 45 minutes with the extra 10 minutes on Thursdays and Saturdays.

 

I am a lover for 30 minute workouts, but this 45 minute workout didn’t even phase me! It goes by quickly, so don’t sweat it!

There is a rest day on Sundays with an optional Mobility stretching program on Sundays.

Who is this program best suited for?

ANYONE! If you’re looking to start your health journey, or looking to loose those last 10 pounds, this program is for you! If you are finishing up a program such as 21 Day Fix and are not yet ready for going to the extreme like P90X, SHIFT SHOP is JUST right for you!
